Dear State Psychiatrist Associations:
I am a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, currently based at the University of Oklahoma. My regional responsibilities include recruiting for all Embassy and Consulate positions overseas, including experienced (5 years or more) family Psychiatrists. This is a unique opportunity to treat U.S.-citizen patients (Foreign Service Officers and their families) in Embassy-run Health Units. You and your family get to see the world while practicing your profession and you can skip the headache of the business/insurance side of the profession and focus on patient care.
You’ll find our current vacancy announcement below,
it’s due June 18
. We hire several Psychiatrists each Vacancy, but the announcements only come out twice a year. Please forward to your membership and I’m happy to answer any follow-up questions or visit your organization to provide a full (free) recruiting presentation.
